once upon a time

Despondent, remorseful, sad, sorry---

words too far away to  feel
the feeling within is glass crushing
the shame sinking like an inky blot.

Looking around a reminder hangs
in the air of broken glass and knotty relation
shrouds everywhere, piercing singly
steps are bloody
with yesterday's anger.

Deep within still boils a lava
A single shower can never douse
A cover is needed to cage the being--
the mind needs to stop thinking.

Limbs remember old programs
moving, clanging-- a machine being.
'I' needs to be crushed
smashed and smothered
the finality is a shroud
living inside a 'being'
once upon a time.

Impending

Floating from room to room
Shackled legs heavy
Stretched palms bloody
Drained in impending doom.

A Macbethian colour hangs in the air
Accusations convict the lizardian brain
Fear and guilt looms dark
The season breaks in fiery bits.

Shrouded being, a carcass lives
Routines played in a mimed stage
Step by step the soul crushed
in unsaid judgements
that cling unseen
Dragging the soul in invisible chain.

Claws reach out tearing the skin
Past raises its shadowed hood
In the shadow is present a fearful tomorrow
Bound by the skeletal frame.

Crowded Alone

Image result for the mind psychologyIn the crowded cage live
All the nerves
Stinging and chewing
At their own ends.
In the tendrils curl a
Plethora of thoughts
Emotionless feelings
Twisted and turned.
Alone the mind contains
Them all
A cup of crawlings
Raising their biting heads.
Living a life of crowded burns
Singes the heart
Crying alone.
Crowded alone lives
The body--- a bane of living
Dressed in sham.
