Moment to Moment

Moment to Moment

Tormented again in the moment;
Nothing remains forever,
Lingers thoughts in pain.
 Leaves flown all over
In the dust some remain,
Tormented again and again.

Tormented again in ecstasy;
Strings strummed in pain,
Every beat breaks the body
Rises over and over again

Tormented again with beats;
Every step a story to tell,
Every arch reaches the sky,
The fingers sing the song of knell.
Brows shoot the arrows of love
Caught again in the mesh it dove
Tormented again and again.

Tormented again in rituals of yore;
Again they come, again they tore.
Streamers of heart, Confetti shower
Wet in tears under the bower.
Tormented again, here they stand-
The world revolves in the loveless band.
The whirlwind blows, creates the tempest
In she dives, a blur of wind.

Tormented again here they stand.

She-The Fire Born

Forming in the fire
She stopped!
Many similar visions she saw
Many such bodies burning bright’
Some in the name of fidelity,
Some for loyalty,
Many such more for courage
And maybe more for honour.

Standing in the fire,
She waited
Viewing the hazy hands
Folded in supplication
And stunned in awe.

A crown bowed in gratitude
Arms opened in awaiting
Standing the fire she saw

Glimpses of stills
Varied and unknown
Separate beads of the same chain
Maybe…

A hand with bows
A head bowing low
A laughing dice
A pain so slow.

A woman benign
Eyes so bright
A darkness glowing
In the blind sight.

A blue light
And a soothing smile
A gentle hand
And the seamless flow
Covering her dignity
As she sunk slow
Standing in the fire she saw.

Green forests
Magical ponds
Beautiful flowers
Ever ready pot.

Home and hearth
Love and pain
Alluring men
All together again

Monsters fought
Jealousies fraught
Burning anger
Actions of blunder

Dark arenas
Giant bodies
Good and bad
Fighting hard

Rolling flesh
Royal mess
Subdued man
Dharma’s cess

Love of many
Varieties galore
One with the mace and one with flower
Fish’s eye, speared red
Death beget
a bond in bed
separate fires
bathe in for each bier.

Standing in the fire she saw!
Yet one glow
The coat of gold
The eyes on fire and the
Hair so wild

The hand so steady
The bow so strong
Glowing white
Beckoned her from long

Jumped she out
The fire left behind
The visions difficult
She did not mind

‘My daughter’ said
the Bowed crown.
Delighted squeals
Broke all frown,
"‘Jagyanseni’ you are my dear
Coming out of the ritual fire"
‘My daughter, my redeemer
Come to me O deity
Your parents craved for your nativity’

Standing outside the fire she saw
Many more fires building anew
Knew she that was the walk
She needs to take
in this New world of stake.
Standing outside the fire she saw
The burning fire within her raw!
